FayFly — Content Policy

Version 1.0 — Effective date: 19 August 2026

This Content Policy forms an integral part of the Terms of Service. It explains what you can and cannot publish on FayFly, and what happens when the rules are broken.

Our approach: the rules are written down, they apply to everyone equally, and when we act, we tell you why. If something here is unclear, write to legal@fayfly.com and ask before you post.

1. Who FayFly is for

FayFly is a portfolio and link hub for creators aged 18 and over. You publish your work on a permanent page and link out to wherever else your audience can find you.

FayFly is not an adult platform. The content standard here is comparable to mainstream social networks: no nudity, no sexually explicit material.

2. What is allowed

Non-explicit body, fashion and lifestyle content is allowed. Photos and videos of feet, legs, hands, hair, swimwear, lingerie shoots, fitness content, dance, cosplay and modelling portfolios are permitted, provided the coverage requirements in Section 3 are met. Content of this kind is frequently removed elsewhere for reasons that are never explained; on FayFly it is allowed, and we will not remove it for being "suggestive" alone.

Links to your other platforms are allowed — including subscription and adult platforms where you publish content that would not be permitted here. You may link to them, name them, and tell your audience what they will find there. The rules in this policy govern what you publish on FayFly, not what you publish elsewhere.

Promotional and commercial content is allowed when it is clearly disclosed (see Section 4).

AI-generated and AI-assisted content is allowed, provided it complies with this policy, does not depict real people without their consent, and is not presented in a way designed to deceive.

3. Nudity and sexual content

Not permitted on FayFly:

  • Visible genitals, anus, or female nipples, whether uncovered or covered only by a transparent layer.
  • Depictions of sexual acts, masturbation, or arousal, whether real, simulated, or implied through framing.
  • Close-up imagery of covered genitals where the focus is the genital area.
  • Sexual services offered for sale, escort advertising, or solicitation.
  • Fluids, insertion, or bondage/BDSM imagery of a sexual character.

Permitted: swimwear, underwear and lingerie shoots; artistic or fashion nudity where the areas above are covered; body parts including feet, legs, torso, and back; suggestive posing that does not depict a sexual act.

Where a post sits close to the line, we take context into account: whether it reads as portfolio, fashion, fitness or artistic work, and how it is captioned.

4. Advertising and paid promotion

If you were paid, given goods, or otherwise compensated to feature a brand, product or service, you must disclose it in the post — for example "#ad", "paid partnership", or a clear sentence in the caption. Removing the link but keeping the branding does not remove the obligation: undisclosed commercial promotion is prohibited under EU consumer law and under this policy.

Additionally prohibited regardless of disclosure:

  • Promotion of gambling and betting operators that are not licensed for the audience being targeted, and any gambling promotion directed at Latvia in breach of applicable advertising restrictions.
  • Promotion of prescription medicines, unapproved health treatments, weight-loss products making medical claims, tobacco, vapes, and other products whose advertising is restricted by law.
  • Financial promotions of unregulated investment schemes, cryptocurrency offerings, or "guaranteed return" products.
  • Multi-level marketing recruitment, "get rich quick" schemes, and similar.

5. Prohibited content

Minors. Zero tolerance. Any content that sexualizes a minor, or that constitutes child sexual abuse material, is removed immediately, the account is terminated without a graduated process, and the matter is reported to the competent authorities. This applies to real, edited, drawn and AI-generated depictions alike. Nothing in this policy — including its context-based approach — softens this rule.

Illegal content. Anything unlawful under Latvian or EU law, or that promotes, facilitates or instructs in illegal activity: sale of controlled substances, weapons, stolen data or counterfeit goods; human trafficking; fraud.

Non-consensual and intimate imagery. Content shared without the consent of the person depicted, including intimate images, hidden-camera material, and sexualized deepfakes of real people.

Impersonation. Presenting yourself as another person, brand, or organization. Fan accounts and parody are allowed when clearly labelled as such.

Intellectual property infringement. Content you do not have the right to publish — including other creators' photos and videos, and music you are not licensed to distribute. Note that videos exported from other platforms frequently contain licensed audio; you are responsible for what you import.

Harassment and hate. Targeted abuse, threats, sustained unwanted contact, doxxing (publishing private information such as home addresses, phone numbers, or documents), and attacks on people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, sexual orientation, or gender identity.

Violence and graphic material. Gratuitous gore, real-world violence presented for shock value, and content promoting or glorifying violent extremism or terrorism.

Self-harm and disordered eating. Content that encourages suicide, self-injury, or disordered eating, including material presenting these as goals to aspire to. Recovery-oriented discussion is permitted.

Animal cruelty.

Spam and platform manipulation. Bulk unsolicited messaging, deceptive links, malware, artificially inflated likes, comments, followers or views, and coordinated inauthentic behaviour. Buying engagement is prohibited for everyone on FayFly, including us.

Security abuse. Unauthorized access attempts, scraping in breach of our terms, credential stuffing, and interference with the service.

6. Accounts and identity

  • One account per person, unless we have agreed otherwise. Managers may operate creator accounts with the creator's documented consent.
  • You may publish only content you created or have the right to publish. Uploading another creator's work as your own is grounds for termination.
  • Creator verification confirms that you control the account. It is not an identity check and not age verification.
  • Accounts must be 18+. Accounts believed to belong to minors are removed.

7. Enforcement

We may apply any of the measures set out in Section 8.2 of the Terms of Service: a notice, a strike, removal or restriction of content, restriction of visibility, restriction of features, suspension, or termination.

Enforcement is normally graduated — a first, non-serious violation typically results in a notice or a strike rather than removal of your account. Steps are skipped for serious violations, including content involving minors, illegal content, non-consensual imagery, and security threats.

Strikes expire 12 months after they are issued.

When we apply a measure, we notify you and state what we did, which rule applies, the facts we relied on, whether automated tools were involved, and how to appeal. You may appeal within 14 days, and appeals are reviewed by a person. See Terms of Service, Section 8.

8. Reporting content

Use the report function on any post or profile, or email legal@fayfly.com. For reports of illegal content, please include the URL, why you consider the content illegal, and your contact details (contact details are not required when reporting content involving the sexual exploitation of minors). We inform both the reporter and the affected user of the outcome.

Copyright owners: see Section 11 of the Terms of Service.

9. Changes

We will announce material changes to this policy at least 15 days before they take effect, by email and/or an in-product notice. The current version is always available at fayfly.com/content-policy.
